Tux Joins Starfleet

Tux as Lt. Cmdr, based on one of the usual GIF images of him floating about, with a quickly drawn little commbadge, and buffer shoulders than he's usually found. He looks rather cartoonish, but that reflects Tux' boyish nature quite well.
 

We know that he's in LWN's Penguin Gallery, because we put him there. But he's also been found in the World Famous Tux Gallery, Elizabeth Jordan's 99.5% pure OS (gallery 3).

After his promotion

Tux as Cmdr, where I went back to the original large image by Larry Ewing, and worked with him from there. In this one the pips are more correctly at the neckpiece, The maroon color of command is darker and he looks more dashing. The dark starfield effect in the JPG behind him works well too. This fits his growing maturity very well indeed. His commbadge is now correct for current 24th century technology.

Unit bilgatus of course, looming large in poster style, with the cube in the "small distance" common of such montages.

Through the neutral zone

The exact details are classified by order of the Tal-Shiyar. However, after picking up a distress signal from the damaged USS Postal Eagle, our Romulan liaison aided his escape across the Neutral Zone.
