Species 31337 = crackerz (reads "eleet" if viewed as letters) More an enemy to the Borg than the natives, but real nonetheless.The Borg = someone who wants to assimilate you. usually Microsoft. "Triangular Borg" = AOLThe Ferengi Fruit Clan = Apple. Romulans = Sun. Everyone knows they use a quantum singularity to power their ships :) There's also some current high end server called Raptor, very apropos.Klingons = in addition to real Klingons, BSD users.

Meeting with another group = docking maneuver Our own homes = Decks e.g. Ops Deck, Xenology Deck, Engineering Deck, etc. although of course the Captain's home is the Ready Room. We'll need to figure out some new method to scale when we get bigger, but right now we have less members with homes they feel like mentioning than decks in the starship so it's okay.Worth noting that Eng.Deck had a name before he joined us, so that is also Area 66.Now that our membership has grown we're considering numbering the decks by first digit of their area code. Which makes it difficult to plan where to keep MI/BUS, since (61) isn't a deck on our ship class. Although there have been references to him being stuck in a computer core Down Under deck 5.Briefing Room = our normal meeting site Round Table Pizza at Geary and 16th Avenue in the Richmond District. Normally this is on the 4th Saturday of every month. Check our meeting directions to be sure and to be advised of upcoming away missions.Beaming Party = exchanging PalmOS software actually we didn't make this one up, it was normal jargon amongst PalmOS fans before we got going, but the term works nicely...

warp 6 = where the engineer starts to worry but you still have a few warps to go :) scale according to your car's top endD: --movement limited-- 10 20 30 40 50 60 70 80 90 etc.impulse describes "how limited." warp by 10s.
- D ex 1:
- pouring along at 50+, encounter gravitic supercluster, now movement is limited, things are flowing but slower and now you can't change lanes. "Drop to 3/4 impulse" even tho you're still going 35 or 40.
- D ex 2:
- Warp 1 = driving slowly on purpose, maybe getting your bearings... or speeding around in a nearly empty parking lot.
